Hello friends.
The winter has finally subsided here in Duluth. Our collaboration with David Dramm in Eindhoven, Holland in January was a unique and inspiring experience. Hello and thank you to all involved with that project. Then in January, we played 3 shows in Florida. Years ago we used to plan tours down to Florida and back in the middle of winter (do the math...) but it has been nearly 8 years. We had fun -- Florida is always a freakout. While there, we were working with a dance choreographer named Morgan Thorson, who is from Minneapolis. Mimi and I are collaborrating with her on a performance called "Heaven." It's still in development, but there are performances scheduled in October in Houston and NYC (at the 331 Gallery, I think.) We will let you know more soon. Meanwhile, the kids just got back from visiting their Montana Grandma for a week, we're writing/working on a new recording and cleaning the basement. Retribution Gospel Choir will be playing in Spain and the UK in May (including ATP) then doing shows in the US with the Meat Puppets in June. More details at the RGC site.
